Product and Service Statement

At Balloon Therapy, we specialize in creating unforgettable experiences with custom balloon designs and decor. Please note that the lifespan of balloons after pickup or delivery isn't guaranteed, as they're temporary items sensitive to various factors like wind and sunlight. While we use high-quality balloons, occasional deflation may occur sooner than expected. For installations, we secure balloons using command hooks and wall tape, with a risk of paint coming off. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to make changes in the best interest of our clients.

Inventory and Colors

Our custom balloon decor is limited by available inventory. We typically source inventory 2-3 weeks in advance, but due to factors like the national latex shortage, exact shades can't be guaranteed. For specific shade requirements, bookings must be made at least a month in advance with a 5% design fee. While we strive to meet color expectations, refunds based on color preferences aren't possible. Rest assured, our expert designers will do their best to fulfill your vision.


Installation times are scheduled the week of your event. If you have specific time constraints, please inform us in advance, and we'll accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.

Break Downs

After enjoying your event balloons, disposal can be done by popping them with a pin and throwing them away. Alternatively, we offer tear-down services for a separate fee, starting at $75 for small jobs and up to $500 for large-scale outdoor or late-night events.

Deposits and Final Payment

A deposit is required to secure your booking, with all deposits being final. Final payment is due 48 hours before your installation date. Failure to make final payment will result in forfeiture of your deposit, and your installation will not proceed.

On-Site and Design Meetings

Event site walk-throughs or in-person meetings incur a fee of $100 or are complimentary for installations totaling over $1500. Specialty orders are subject to a 5% design fee.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least three (3) business days before your installation date to avoid full invoice payment. Deposits are non-refundable, and failure to adhere to the cancellation policy will result in full payment being due on the planned installation day.

Safety Waiver

By paying the invoice, you are assuming the risk of any injury or damage that may occur through any service of Balloon Therapy Charleston, including, but not limited to, property damage, fallen objects, allergies, choking, and personal injury

Weather Notice

Due to extreme weather, we strongly discourage any outdoor balloon installations during summer and winter months. There are a few expectations, but overall, we feel your experience and satisfaction will be much better by allowing us to install indoors. During the hot summer days, we have no control over what will happen without balloons. We’ve had instances where they stayed up and looked great for 12 hours, and we’ve had instances where they begin to pop after a few hours. In most cases, we will not be able to return after installation to fix anything that has popped or fallen. We will, however, do our best to try.
